Learn how to decipher the subtleties of inter-personal needs & social dynamics within your group:
During my Masters degree a consistent finding was that apparent 'success' with individual pupils, through intervention, became compromised upon re-integration back into classes. Hence, my doctorate focussed on comprehending the social and emotional climate of classrooms. Analysis of data enables colleagues to begin to spot the habitual patterns; the subtle nuances and cues which steer group dynamics.

“Loved the socio and looking at the relationships involved – would love to do more of this”.
“I thought the socio feedback was excellent and helped focus the dynamics of the group. It allowed me to understand how the individuals in the group viewed one another and gave me a much better insight into the class as I do not actually teach them”.
“I have been aware of the impact of groups and psychology through ‘Sports Psychology’ and my own experiences through team sports. I was unable to measure or quantify this factor until now”.
“I am much better at considering the group dynamic rather than looking at individuals. To do this does involve knowing about the individuals and who will or won’t work best together”.
